Issaquah Trophy & Awards has selected Heroes for the Homeless as its latest Awards for a Cause recipient.
If a customer purchases select awards on the Issaquah Trophy & Awards website, www.issaquahtrophy.com, a portion of proceeds goes to Heroes for the Homeless.
Heroes for the Homeless serves up to 700 people every month by providing food and water, hygiene supplies, clothing, tents and sleeping bags, and information about how to access social services.
Issaquah Trophy & Awards is hosting a sandwich-making event at 5 p.m. Jan. 25 at its showroom, 1320 N.W. Mall St. Volunteers plan to make 500 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Email anne@issaquahtrophy.com to learn more or volunteer.
Issaquah Trophy & Awards is also collecting socks and toiletries. Drop donations off at the showroom between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday through March 31.
